Manish Dugar serves as Chief Financial Officer at Practo and is a member of Practo’s core leadership team. In this role, Manish leads Practo’s financial, legal & regulatory operations including M&A accounting, treasury, financial planning, and corporate governance. He also drives new monetisation/growth at Practo. Prior to joining Practo, he was the CFO at InMobi where, in addition to taking care of the company’s financial and legal aspects, he was also involved in general management and leadership development as well as spearheading their business in Japan.
While working at InMobi and Practo, Manish has been advising, investing in several startups and is the founding advisor to Nudge Foundation which is a very progressive/unique NGO addressing the issue of Urban poverty and has launched Ncore which is an incubator for Not For Profit organisations.
Before InMobi and his startup adventure, Manish has held diverse leadership roles across large enterprises including RPG where he was the Group CFO and Wipro where he was the CFO for Wipro Technologies and CEO for the BPO business which was worth over half a billion dollars.
Manish has served on NASSCOM, ASSOCHAM, and IMA committees. He is also a member of iSPIRT, an industry think-tank that represents the interests of the Indian software products industry in areas like government policy and the creation of market catalysts. He has also been nominated to the G6, a worldwide group of the top thinkers in the BPO industry.
Manish has an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Calcutta and is a certified Chartered Accountant, Company Secretary and a Cost Accountant.
Married with two children, Manish believes in working hard and working smart, and living a balanced life. When he isn’t being a super-hero at work, he indulges in pencil sketching and creating henna art. His passion for RUNNING is unparalleled with more than 70km a week.[/vc_headings]
